easytag is ready for uploading to unstable. Why a git snapshot? Long story short, it's been a long time since a normal release; easytag's original upstream (on sourceforge) does not respond to mail, and the last release was in 2008. In late 2010, a fork appeared on github with the same name, and this is what this version uses as its new upstream.
The snapshot is basically 2.1.6 + mostly bugfixes, including previous patches from Debian, Gentoo, Ubuntu, and some original fixes by the new upstream. When I approached seb128 on IRC, he said he had not maintained easytag for years, and allowed the multimedia team to take over the package.
