Both are incompatible! So you may want to replace them by the ones from the Debian stable archives and try again. I forgot to tell about the system used if it could help :
kernel 2.6.31.6-rt19-1-amd64 on Debian squeeze-sid, processor AMD athlon 64
3800+
Audacity was working find on this system a few weeks ago, so i tried to purge
and reinstall it with aptitude, same result than in my previous mail.
So I finally tried to install the package from lenny :
# aptitude install audacity/stable
(...)
Les NOUVEAUX paquets suivants vont être installés :

And now it works fine. So i guess there is a problem with the package from Sid
