I'm tring to get pulseaudio running on Sid AMD64 using 4front-tech's OSS
sound driver for an Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro card. I have uncommented
the OSS line (not the mmapped line because this has been apparently
removed upstream?) in default.pa but pulseaudio drops the sound card
immediately. I do not rule out user/config error as I can't really find
much about the OSS and pulseaudio combination.
My default.pa is the standard config but with the following 3 lines
uncommented:

source_name=input
set-default-sink output
set-default-source input
In daemon.conf I have set high-priority to 1
My user is a member of audio, pulse, pulse-rt and pulse-access.

Please close this bug. Uncommenting the default-sample-channels entry in
the daemon.conf file and changing 2 to 6 now lets pulseaudio run kind of
okayish....
I am now getting a:
mmap(PROT_READ) failed, reverting to non-mmap mode: Device or resource
busy error but thats a different story. Perhaps a future update will
improve the OSS support.
