I'm not using fluxbox anymore.

[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#742025: network-manager-gnome: Systray icon too small

2014-03-18 Thread Christophe Troestler
Package: network-manager-gnome
Version: 0.9.8.4-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

When starting nm-applet

pkill nm-applet
nm-applet

the systray icon (in fluxbox) is too small (see nm_small.png attached).
If I restart the network manager

/etc/init.d/network-manager restart

the icon has its normal size (see nm.png attached).

[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#601345: battery charge level utterly wrong

2011-05-26 Thread Christophe TROESTLER
I have the very same problem with kernel 2.6.38.2 from kernel.org.
Funnily the wrong percentage given by upower seems to be reported when
the real one is 50%.

The number of brightness levels seems to be 7 in the manager but my
laptop has 15. This is not a big problem to manually change the
brightness (when the on screen bar is empty/full, one gets a new one
for the additional levels) but it means that dimming the display is
not so nice as it uses the current 7 levels (it would also be great if
  the dimming level was configurable).

xfpm only picks what hal gives it, so you have to ask there.

Ah. On closer inspection, the module thinkpad_acpi was adding
/sys/devices/virtual/backlight/thinkpad_screen which was repoting the
wrong number of brightness levels. Blacklisting this module fixes the
issue.

Best,
C.
