for a new WPA/WPA2 password protected AP, and knowing the SSID and
manually creating the connection prior to have ever connected to it,
network manager won't connect to it with a spoofed MAC
then if i delete the saved connection,

i use unbound as my resolver
when i tried to setup a wifi access point (hot spot) i saw that my other
devices couldn't connect to the internet
at the time i had a vpn conn. with its own dns resolver and this was how i
wanted the oth
after removing dnsmasq the hot spot would not function
i then re-installed, rebooted and disabled unbound, then the hot spot
worked again
dnsmasq seems to listen hard-coded on the previous dns server ip of the
vpn connection
(i connect to the vpn through the openvpn-nm applet)
with the hot spo
any progress ?
i cannot get a hotspot working at all
is this confirm working with an external usb wifi ?
any details required can be provided

where is the config stored for hotspot?

stopped dnscrypt-proxy, unbound systemd services
re-installed dnsmasq and base - i removed it because i dont use it
day-to-day
start hotspot
network-manager window crash
no hotspot
dnsmasq is conflicting with unbound and dnscrypt-proxy
is the only solution to disable unbound/dnscrypt-proxy
segfault was probably the window crash
