yesterday, I saw the leak again, after using the CF of my camera a lot,
also in Thunar. Maybe the leak shows up when using external media in
Thunar and then ejecting it while it is opened in Thunar. Just a guess.

I monitored the memory usage of the xfce4-menu-plugin process on my Etch
system. The result is attached. I did a grep Vm /proc/pid/status and
wrote that to a log file. As you can see, VmRSS inceases by 700 kb
every 5 minutes.

directory ~/.config, failed, and crashed. WTF? How about a namespace?
