Near to our release on next Mandriva, we got an issue related to color
contrast in kde 4.2.x.
First of all, here's the screenshot of basically the default desktop:

When I resize the Desktop Settings dialog horizontally, I'd expect the
Mandelbrot controls to resize automatically to use the extra space.
That's what happens with the Pattern wallpaper's controls. But I can't

Completely agree on that...Same for OpenSuse 11.1 they ship Aya by default,
first thing i do (when it's not my own build), get rid of the ugly default.
Please listen users (and sometime just ask them what they want or what are

I think branding is a separate debate from their lack of taste in the
theme they use by default.
Can any Plasma theme be branded? OpenSUSE seemed to do a decent job
giving a green-gloss to Oxygen instead of the blue; different, but it
looked okay.
