niccolove added a comment. In Cupertino, I think that the apps launcher should be limited in width and should auto-hide. Regarding a side panel, I think it's really easy and nice to make the system tray somehow full height, that would easily mimick macOS and W10

ngraham added a comment. One thing I'm running into is the need for a panel style that's always hidden until a button in another panel is clicked. Both macOS and Windows 10 have right screen edge sidebars that only appear when a button in one of the default panels is clicked. I like this
