Okay, well I've got plplot roughly setup on my Linux box at home - the reason
why it's not easy is that this box is a media centre connected to my TV (no
proper monitor) running Ubuntu 10.04 (which has a version of CMAKE too old to

it seems to me that the message coming from the ~wxPLDevGC
was due to deleting wxPLDevGC after calling wxuninitialize.
In fact, reverting the things the message disappears, but the
ill behaviour is still there.

a message is delivered as soon as I right click
