I've upgraded one of my machines to the beta release of Ubuntu Intrepid (final version due for release tomorrow). Good news is that a full plplot compile works out of the box. All tests passed with only minor differences for a couple of tcl examples and a couple of languages still missing example 19.
As an aside this distribution contains the latest debian packages for plplot 5.9.0 compared to 5.8.0 in the previous release.
