Hi Werner: Could you comment on the general reasons why libplplotdmd is built as static only? I locally tried a shared build and ran into trouble with /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.1.3/libgphobos.a on Debian Lenny which had not been compiled with -fPIC (so obviously could not be linked by a sha
