I can't comment on the ada bindings (I'm no Ada expert - but I'd be
interested in the answer for the debian packages). Comments on the java
issue below.

and
/usr/share/ada/adainclude/plplotadad/
Are these in any way "standard" install locations for Ada includes and
libraries?
