AllocateCacheRecord() fails to check if the new record insertion worked.
SaveImageInStorageCache() then writes to the record, even if
AllocateCacheRecord() returned a NULL handle. I don't know enough about the
cache code to want to fix it myself. This may be related to bug #665.

I committed a rudimentary fix, which seems to fix bug #665, but at the cost
of not displaying images once memory has run out. It really ought to be
reclaiming cache memory when it's running out.

I have read the tutorials but can´t open html-pages which are on my
laptop.
I use MacOSX 10.2 and a Palm 515.
Can you please explain me how to read the files on my palm? It´s an
index-page and about five dozen other html-pages.

You need to make sure you are running the right version of Plucker
(1.4 or later), and that you have installed the right version of
