Looks like the Linux version of Labview 2018 standard costs $2999.99. That's 
pretty expensive for something I cannot try out first.

I doubt highly that Windows XP is a real time system. Would be nice to run 
Linux on the network analyzer itself.

LXI compliant devices are supposed to run a web server you can access to remote 
configure them among other things. I'm still missing something, maybe I need
to install IVI drivers on the Agilent Network Analyzer. Seems like a whole 
piece is missing. I get VISA errors of device not available even when VISA 
server is installed and running on the Analyzer.
