In my case, I don't generally think to check the time first thing, but then I remember. If you are not running chrony or ntp or something similar, I'd recommend doing so. We have as part of our update procedures a step where time is checked. That can be done manually or automatically. --

I'm a long time Debian user and former small shop Sys Admin who came to fall in love with Debian's stability and the apt package management system. Arch seems very modern with its rolling release, ability to switch kernels on the fly and snap, flatpak support. I understand all of these things
