I have a friend who just returned to Utah from Boston and is looking for a programming position. His degree is in Physics and he has spent several years working on numerical modeling. I believe that most of his experience has been in Fortran and Python and possibly C++. I believe that he is flexible in the direction future work may take (he is not limiting himself to numerical modeling). I do not know if he has any significant database experience.
