Sorry... it is chrome. I'll look for something having to do with 'history'.
if I remember right there is only a way to do it globally in history. I
only want to cleaar the fill ins for one or two pages.

I think he means Form History.   If using Firefox, go to
Tools--Addons--Extensions.  Search for something like "form history" and
there are a variety of tools to allow selective editing, such as this one:

There's not enough information here to properly answer your question.  
What program are you using (I'm guessing some kind of browser because of 
used the word "page", but I'm not totally sure of that and even if I was 
I don't know which browser.  I also don't know what you're clicking on 
that is giving you a list of user names.

I have an entry field for a username. If I click on it it gives a list of
previously used usernames. How do I delete those previously used usernames
