well, I finally got with the program and went imap on my mac. this means I don't need to store any messages locally.it also means I can check my mail from other locations using my powerbook. speaking of which, I may need some sighted help getting a workable image for a talking linux on that mac

A couple of things to try: - If it is a wireless keyboard, try resyncing it (connent button). I do not know if the GUI can exert any influence over that sync-up or not but it is easy to try. - plug in an ADDITIONAL keyboard such as a USB one to see if a second keyboard will work. -try booting into
