file I can do that. If I want to redirect standard out to a variable
for latter use, I can do that. But how do I redirect standard error to
a variable?

Long time no see. I haven't been able to be a participant in PLUG in a
number of years but I'm glad to see it still steaming along. I am one of the
principals in the Maker Bench techshop/hackerspace that is opening in Tempe
in May. Anyway
we are hosting some events before then and on Ma
