Short Answer: I had to set gstreamer properties to use X Window System (No
XV) as the plugin for Default Video Output. This may be another effect of
the Intel Video drivers Jaunty seems to have trouble with.

It appears as if your problem is related to the dbus-daemon. Cheese
uses it. Your video card and driver are seen just fine. Try an
external camera just to get it going for tomorrow night?

displays the user interface and then goes away. The only thing I have been
