Hold down the reset button for 120 seconds until the lights flash. Once it's reset to factory settings, you can reflash your firmware (OpenWRT or whatever). Someone probably got into it (happens all the time). If you can't reset her, she's toast. http://performance.toast.net/

I think my router is broken how do I verify this? I plug the modem into the internet port of the router and the computer tries to connect to it but then says 'limited or no connectivity'. I tried the 192.168.1.1 thing (to look into the router settings), though I doubt that it has anything to

If you power the router on and hold the reset button for a while (I think 5 seconds, but you will see all the lights flash or something too), it'll reset the device to factory settings. Then you can access it with admin/admin and set it up the way you want again. Hope that helps. -Joe mike

This would suggest a corrupt firmware, or chip... at this point you can try an ope firmware or a new/updated firmware from linksys. If it is the chip stick a fork in it because it is done. (remove power first unless you like unrestrained voltage) if you feel like experimenting you cna try
