Thought of upgrading to Mandriva 2008 on laptop (Inspiron 1501) from
Mandriva 2007.0
things were quite fine till almost 80-90 % of upgrade was over..
Then suddenly a silent (not blank) screen and no harddisk activity for
almost 15 minutes.
So after failed Ctrl-Alt-Del, I pressed

Last evening I I tried moving to 2007.1 free edition from my 2007.0 pp
+ a few 2007.1 rpms installed on TP60p.
My story
1. The full-text screen does not stay for a long enough time to repond
2. You are taken to the GUI from where opting for text did not
yield any response

I wanted to know if any IDEA subscribers use the Google Calendar SMS
facility. It doesn't seem to be working for me.
Surprisingly, my earlier BSNL number used to receive regular SMS' from GCal!

Well... I gave upgrading an another shot and it picked up from where
it left off and everything went smooth and except few setting changes
I am fully working on Mandriva 2008 now.
Installed new HSF modem and look like I am back in action..

On !DEA it doesn't work.
On Airtel it works fine.
