Somebody (a friend) handed me a Dlink wireless modem/router G604T
because he was facing some problems with it.
I downloaded the userguide and installed it directly on DataOne link
from BSNL. Gave username and password, and correct VCI setting and
great everything works purrrfect.
P.S: I know people on PLUG mailing list are easily offended (some anyway),
so let me repeat I do not mean to distrust. Let me apologize in advance if
I have hurt anyone's feeling by asking more data.

two antennas are for 'b' and 'g'

I have a few queries for all people in the similar situation?

1. What kind of signal strength is observed?
Depends :) If you need more range, Linksys has another high power router
which they claim has 8 (?) times the range.
2. Do connections drop often?
No.
3. What is the typical distance?
Depends. Especially on what is between you and the router.
Friends
Please contribute information on the price/vendor Linksys routers
under discussion.
