 Thanks Sankarshan and Shyam.

FUEL is something I was looking for. A Standardized repository of commonly
used words. I found Glosbe.com to be very handy as it searches in KDE
repository for the results, I feel FUEL and Glosbe would serve the purpose
for me.

I only concern with FUEL is that the glossary is in pdf. Seriously? I know
.ods and .po files are also present but storing this glossary on a
webpage(read html format) would be handy.

Thanks,
Anand.

That is a function of the output format. Put a request to the FUEL
folks to provide a HTML format and that should be trivial to do.

Restart should in realty be पुनश्च हरिः ॐ

but in between different states of India people will differ whether it should
be ॐ or ओ३म्

Hence that is currently in the state what probably appears to be state of
despair or dis-repair

Anand,

1) If you are in Pune/Mumbai try contacting the local CDAC offices.
2) If you are not in proximity of these cities, try CDAC's websites,
especially their sections on GIST and FUEL. I think the second one (fuel)
may have a separate website and they are dedicated to localisation.
3) You can make your computer dual-boot and install Hindi/Marathi versions
of Gnu-Linux running GNOME localisation of Hindi/Marathi or KDE
localisation of Hindi/Marathi. They have pretty matured/professional levels
of localisations.

Maybe Karunakar would like to comment here ?

thanks and cheers,
