More accurately, I just get two log entries about ShutdownServer:

Sorry, my mistake. I thought I had undone all the unnecessary (and
stupid) edits I had made to the plugin file, but there was one
important one left in there. I re-downloaded the plugin to get a clean
version, restarted slimserver, and there is the option on the server
plugins page, just like you

Hey all,
I've updated the zip in the original post with fixes for both the hang
issue (where the client perpetually displays "Retrieving...") and the
"Already logged in as..." issue.
For those interested:
The hang issue was caused by not "unblocking" the client when a refresh
of the login failed
I have attached txt files of the info generated by configure, make and
make install.
I have spent a lot of time trying to get this to work and feel like I
am close so I hate to give up now.
Thanks for taking the time to sort this out. Hopefully there is an easy
fix.

If I want to show the progress bar at
top right I just enter PROGRESSBAR in the relevant place. Is there a
variable I can use to show the remaining time afterwards? e.g.
PROGRESSBAR (Remaining-Time-Variable).

The tar created the folder MPlayer-1.0rc1 and all the subfolders. The
root does not show a log file. I tried to search through most folders
but can not find any log files.
If I run ./configure again is there a command I should use to create
the log files?
Sorry for being so inept at this!
--
In the case of configure step - it is a file called configure.log in the
mplayer directory.
For the make step - it will be console output.

The steps to make mplayer
1. Use the 1.0pre8 or 1.0rc1 tar file
2. cd to the mplayer dir and do a ./configure
If there is an error on this the copy log to a file, zip it and post
as an attachement.
3. run make.
If there is an error on this the copy log to a file, zip it and post
as an attachement.
I am trying to stream Sirisu radio but do not get any sound. I went to
the mplayer website and dowloaded the file and tried to install it on a
Kurobox with Linux. Slimserver does a great job streaming MP3 files and
other internet radio but I can not get AlienBBC or Sirius to work.

(From the web page) it would be good to have all the normal clients
available, then an extra (virtual) "Master" one. All the individual
settings from the real players would have one extra option ("Use Master
setting"), and they would be set to this option by default.
The Master part would be dif
