Thanks Danco. 'Checking stream' (or similar) comes up as I try to connect to Listen Live and archived programs, but nothing happens beyond that. I've already upped the radio timeout to 90. I've never used terminal before, but perhaps I should try what you suggest. -- whitman

I did raise a bug for this crashing issue. http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4558 As far as I can see it's in core SlimServer network code and caused by LastFM's response to a submission it has problems with (possibly due to large size). Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about

How about if SlimScrobbler added a menu item to the playing internet radio stream (non-LastFM) that said ... scrobble this track - with a default of no scrobbling? Then if I heard something I liked more than usual I could get it sent to my profile. Theoretically possible. But A) AudioScrobbler

[SlimDevices: Plugins] AlienBBC and Adding station that are disabled by default

Hi Everyone Really new to this and I have searched the forum prior to posting but unable to sort my problem ! I want to listen to Radio Ulster. Now Alien BBC says in its one of the stations disabled by default, but I cannot make head nor tale of how to nake it work on my 1 day old Squeezebox !

1. On the Server web page goto Server Settings. 2. Then select AlienBBC. 3. Then click on the plus sign opposite Radio Ulster and it will be added to the enabled list of stations. -- bpa bpa's Profile:

With AlienBBC you do not need the URL. Once you have Radio Ulster enabled - then from the Slimserver top level menu (either Web or SB) under Internet Radio there is a menu item AlienBBC. Select AlienBBC and then you will have a list of many BBC stations - the normal BBC R1-R7 etc. but at the

There are a number of issues: 1. If you only find Radio Ulster under Listen Again then it looks like you haven't enabled it as I described earlier. It makes little difference except the Listen Again menu content is controlled by the BBC so items will move. Try again to enable radio Ulster 2.
