I just downloaded and tested to access my slimserver from my Ubuntu
Linux laptop and it worked directly. It looks very promising, I've
started to dream about integration with TrackStat for setting ratings,
with Dynamic Playlist plugins for launching smart playlists,
integration
I have a feeling this is going to make a lot of people very happy.

were recognized when I loaded the skin.
I also did not see a link to setup/configuration options.

I agree this looks very cool.
It loads faster than even the default skin!
However, all my playlists are empty when viewed in slimfx (including
the player's 'now playing' list) but fine in normal skins!
I will very interested in plugin integration with this skin!

Ah, I take that back. The playlists do load, I just have very large ones
and I guess the skin has to load the whole list rather than just the
first page.
However the 'now playing' list hasn't loaded, although both of my
players were recognised.

Not sure what I am doing wrong, tried to install LazySearch, it says you
can copy the file from your pc, and then drop it in the slimserver under
pluggins.
Under pluggins I have a lot of standard pluggins, but I cannot copy the
LazySearch into this box

I have Slim Server 6.5.0 and installed the AlienBBC plug-in
automatically using the 'Windows' entry on the plug-ins webpage. It
installed and ran the mplayer test satisfactorily. However, there is
no AlienBBC entry or mention on the Slim Server webpage when I launch

C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Plugins
and just drag a copy of LazySearch2.pm into it (or use Copy and Paste
to place it there).

yes, windows XP.
As far as I know I should go to Start, All Programmes, SlimServer,
SlimServer.
Then I get to my page at SlimServer where I see my music etc.
I click on Pluggins and I see a frame where all the standard pluggins
are located.

One problem I think: filtering by Genre is not working as I'd expect,
in the case where an Artist could be under more than one genre.
Example: Select Genre=Overture : get a list of Artists who have
Overture albums, and in the Albums panel

Unfortunately I think I must have neglected something pretty
fundamental, as I see the skin, but everything on the page is
completely unpopulated for me. I don't see an albums/tracks or my
squeezeboxes listed.

One tiny quirk. The Sort Order for Album and Artist is case sensitive -
eg dexys midnight runners is sorted after Zutons - which is not the
default behaviour on other skins. Is this something which can be
