The bugs that 3.8 and 3.9b1 solve relate to non MP3 streams which are
transcoded into Flac typically WMA or RealAudio and also problems with
pause/play. Your problem does sound like a network issue.

Sorry to hijack your thread. How did you get the FreeNas drives to spin
down when SqueezeCenter is running? Mine won't spin down unless I stop
the SqueezeCenter service.

It would probably happen if you stored id3 tags in FLAC files, but FLAC tags
are a better standard, so developers probably read the data out correctly,
update the tags and write th
This is a Windows driver issue. You probably need to check posts on

Need help...I am trying to get this thing work on Windows 7.
In the Record setup theres only micinput and lineinput,no what u hear

"server log" to debug, reproduced the fault... and saw absolutely
nothing appear in the log. Please bear with me, I'll have another look

Difficult to tell from that description. I've just tried a few BBC6
listen again streams and they are working for me. Do you still have a
problem? If so what does your server log show - anything?

How did you install SoftSqueeze ? I think there is a problem with the
zip version - the libraries don't match and usually an error message
appears. Most users use the Extension Downloader.

I'm experiencing a problem with the BBC Radio 6 Listen Again feeds-
around 75% of them won't play - The SB display freezes on "Buffering
18%". I'm getting the same on two SB3s and a Boom (although the Boom
seems to play a few more than the SB3s will.) The same thing happens
with the AlienBBC => Al
Depending on your OS it could be in various locations
but you want to look for \\server\plugins
That's were we store all the 3rd party plugins

I got my Ipod Touch(32 GB) and installed Ipeng from the App Store. What
a software!!
Congratulations for developing this excellent application. I love it.
Installation was a breeze! I downloaded the software this morning and I
should be able to review the various features by EOD today.
With 7.3.x and softsqueeze playing wma streams you need to use
Softsqueeze 3.8 or 3,9b1 as well as AlienBBC 2.5 if on Linux/OSX

Are you running SC directly with activestate perl? You must download
the source for SC apply the patch for 7.3 to the windows version and
start it using perl not the squeezecenter.exe binary. If you don't do
all these steps you will still be running the unmodified source.
You're best to use 7.4
It all seems to be working with the Duet well so no problems here
anymore, must have been a problem with softsqueeze.
