I live in Belgium. But the fact is that despite the plugin being
installed, there is nowhere any sign of the Last.FM radio. I would at
least expect it to show up somewhere but then fail to work if Belgium
is not supported.

I find it difficult to locate and impossible to save albums via Spotify.
It's much easier with Rhapsody. But the higher bitrate is very nice with
Spotify. I also have tried Classical.com which I find very good too.

host. i've set firewall and antivirus off but no luck. can you help

Can you log onto the nas, file the location of spotifyd which is a
binary shipped with the plugin and try to run it from the command line
- what error messages

playing song on the right side, I don't get any song info on the left
side like I usually do for local music. Should I? In fact, it
completely blanks out the left side so I can't get back to normal menus
