Are you sure you are able to play this program - it is not available on
BBC own iPlayer on a web browser for 20th - 23rd Sept outside UK.
Perhaps this is a UK only program ?

Hi Triode,
I hope you are keeping well.
I have a new problem with spotifyd.
On startup of Squeezeserver I get this message

Then an error message saying spotifyd.exe can't load.
Not sure when it happened but there are now regional variation schedules
for Radio Wales - FM MW, Scotland - FM, MW, Orkney,Shetland and
Highlands Islands.
The following file can replace the plugin one of same name and allow
access to the schedules of these regional variations.

Now I don´t know if there was actually any sound - had speakers off -
but the time was counting.
The only streams I found which work on internet radios are here:

Counting doesn't always means music playing especially with transcoded
or 3rd party plugins.
I couldn't get any Around Orkney to play on any interface on SBS
(WebUI, SB3 or Touch) or BBC iPlayer.
On the WebUI on Left Hand pane if I drill down as far as I can go
without playing - no URL shows up
I see so it probably wasn´t playing! At some point I found a link
on the Beeb pages which seemed to be a Real Audio stream.
Guess the BBC need to rationalise their streams! Although the Orkneys
are closer to Norway than London, so maybe they don´t count!

RealAudio streams are dead a a couple of years time ago - the only
RealAudio is left in archived programs. BBC are not rigorous at

That is a very nice idea.
Some observations on this early release:
1) My server 'chokes' on the strings.txt file - it seems it doesn't
accept DOS style CRLF line endings, so none of the titles show up.
Replacing the CRLFs with LFs cures that.
2) It doesn't respond gracefully to certain bad bus

Would anyone have any idea if SvrPowerControl will work with the

Judging from many posts here people will stay on 7.6 if the plugin
doesn't work in the newer version. I for one will not upgrade.
Is there anything we could do?
I would certainly like to

Very excited to be a Spotify premium member, even more excited to hear
it's supported on Squeezebox. Sounds like it's not supported on the

Anyone know if and when this will be fixed/addressed?

Right, unfortunately not licensing issues, but hardware limitations.
Spotify can only run on newer Radio/Touch hardware.

Got it.
So 2 questions. I use an external DAC with my Duet. The external is
far superior (Theta ProBasic IIIa) to what is provided in the Duet so
i'm really just streaming the digital out to my DAC.
If I was to use the Trinode plugin, would this stream to the digital

And second, would
Yeah once the audio gets to the player it goes out all outputs, analog
and digital.
