My wife just voted for #1 as it's the most generic one. The problem with SqueezeLite is, that it actually could be running everywhere. Computers / Laptops, Wandboards, Rasperry Pis, Vortexboxes, sealed in little black boxes...

I was just playing via the 'something different' plugin. The track ended - then Touch screen displayed buffering ... and acompanied by a short burst of white noise. Using ver. 1.1.0 on Fedora LMS 7.8 latest git.

Rolly, Loaded your new v0.8.1 and did a clear rescan using LMS 7.8.0 - 1368712274 @ Fri May 17 07:10:51 CUT 2013 and it blew the size of artwork.db from 222,133KB to 721,667KB, Win 7 64bit. Can't say I notice any increase in speed of the initial display of the GUI, but LMS is running on an E450
