I'm running iOS 6.1.3 on my 3GS. The new iOS 7 is not available for my
device. I see there is a new iPeng. The primary item in the release
notes is that it's iOS 7 compatible, plus some bug fixes. Do you
recommend that I install this newest version of iPeng on my iThingy?

Works perfectly with LMS (v.7.7.2 007) on Synology Nas, except for
saving images as mention earlier.
Thanks Michael

I just started using the Local Player plugin with a Windows 7 media
server to a USB DAC. Is there any advantage using ASIO4All instead of
the Windows device?

Which device is this?
iOS 7 is slow and it sometime reacts slowly. It also has issues with
some buttons that are hard to hit or don't show that they've been hit.
Almost all Apps I'm using show more or less frequent crashes.
I would not have thought it's ready for the prime time in the current

Hi!
None of my tunes with åäö in the artist or song name is recognized by
Smart Mix.
I have removed åäö in the file path.
Using the no bucket trick I can find the songs in the database and
tagged the file with the name from the database but it's still
unrecognized.
Kind Regards

After updating to iPhone ios7, I am finding that ipeng remote is very
slow. I know this is probably an issue with the apple update but I just
thought I'd ask if there are any suggestions to improve the ipeng
responsiveness and if ithers are experiencing the same thing?
Thank you.

Oops :) will have a look.
And sorry about the "paste track" thing but Facebook definitely insists
you have to do it that way and you are not expected to pre-fill that
comment field.
It's only with Apple's implementation under iOS 6 that they lose control
over it which is why it works there again.
Minor niggle ( not a real problem ).
When I use the share on Facebook on my old iPad 1 I have to resort to
the paste track info method ok .
But the paste always ends with a -(null) ? I just simply remove that :)
no problem .
