I'd like to have Squeezelite connect to my home server across the
internet but I use a DNS service so my server address looks like this:
myserver.dnsprovider.org
It's not working. Can Squeezelite accept a server address like this or
must it be numeric?

IIRC Triode's BBCiPlayer plugin from the offical repository has not been

I followed the instructions for this fix a while back.
It still works great for me, but I recall reading that regular
changes/updates may be required as the situation evolves.

The pi just will not boot with this image on these cards
I wonder if the format is wrong? I can't use SD Formatter because it's a
work laptop and I can't download the program ... could an incorrect
format of card be the issue?

now the version 1436858598 isn't starting at my DS213J.
I've deinstalled, restart Diskstation and reinstall it.
This version isn't starting.
