I never investigated the uPNP discovery method on CCA but the CCA's use
of mDNS (the alternate discovery method) means the CCA announces itself
on mDNS and then a few

Sadly yes, updated to dev4 this morning, now it won't find my CCA

stop reboot loops, but it's clearly not working as intended for me...
But let's wait and see what other users report.
It does not seem to work for me right now, but let's wait and see how

I think your Plugin is fine so far, if the main use is Squeezebox

fine. Switching between Cast mode and LMS Player mode seems to be a

Hi pinkdot. I use Triodes's BBC iPlayer plugin which needs the parser
file updated to re-able the catch up programmes.
See #3 here:

How do I do this with your package please?
Many thanks,

Okay so the college basketball season has officially started and a
couple of tweaks are needed to properly decode the JSON file for scores.
I'll post a release for the

This is interesting...
I think I might actually have a clue about what's going on...
Device Spy finds plenty of devices, including the CCA units. However, it
also finds a couple of "dead" devices, and some of those carry the same
name. Could that be an issue for your Bridge Plugin?

Many thanks for that. After a little faffing about I installed the

And I learned a little along the way too
Cheers.

Fantastic plugin, thank you so much! Works a treat with my iOS9
devices.
How do I go about reducing the gap between starting the stream on my
device and hearing the audio on my squeezebox? Do I need to reduce a
buffer somewhere?
Thanks,
Ben

Exactly, HLS isn't providing 320kbps Listen Again for Radio 3 and RTMP
is. We don't know how long RTMP will still be available.

Any chance to have tried just the binary on a different machine ?
Meanwhile, I'll build a special version for you with logs of what it
sees but disqualifies as chromecast devices. Any chance to use this
device spy tool or the Linux equivalent (can remember the name now, but
it is in squeeze2upno

Are you hoping it will fix your rebuffering issues or have you some
other need to use DASH ? Regarding rebuffering, I wouldn't be too
hopeful as DASH
Hello

It looks like everything is working fine now! The problem with
autostarting was probably because I did not wait long enough after
powering off and then powering back on again.
Apart from that, I haven't had any issues! I did not actively try to
break anything just yet, maybe I'll

Btw...my lounge CCA seems to have vanished from LMS again. It was online
the entire time (but not connected) and I just started SqueezeCtrl to
check, and found that it no longer shows up as a player. It's still
visible in the Chromecast app though. Well, never mind.

Can I suggest an update to the config profile to set the failed scan to

Oh-oh spoke too soon!
There is a problem playing hls streams (eg, BBC iPlayer) - these play
but after a random time period the sound drops out. The control shows
the stream is still playing.
This doesn't happen with Sonos or Rocki where hls works without problem.
