Adding the aac codec results in hls streams not playing, just a cycle of
restarts after a few seconds.
Strange as the spec claims aac plus.
For stand-alone devices, I wish it could be possible to have a simple EQ
feature (even bass and treble would be useful)!

I"m using the triode 3rd party spotify plugin and it is working properly
on my end. So I don't think there is any widespread problem. Have you
looked at your settings on the triode plugin and tried to reenter your
userID and pw?

Btw...what setting of logging should I use to get less "fluff" and more
useful information? Currently the logs are swamped with reecan attempts
because I have set logging to "all"

Leave debug setting to "none", it is already quite verbose. I should
