updated spotty app which I tried checking.
I clicked apply but it wanted the server turned off. Never figured out
how to do that until I rebooted the iMac after each deletion and

Following up, I played music from Google throughout the afternoon.
During that time, two (or perhaps three) tracks ended prematurely. That
happens on rare occasions with other sources, so I assume those were not
the result of a problem with the plugin. I think my issue is resolved.

The scanner code in LMS has not been changed, other than how the artwork
is being grabbed from the internet. All the logging to LMS etc. has
remained un-touched.

My MAI settings are as follows:

Everytime I now rescan I see

My Music folder is not writable by LMS (deliberately) so I always see
717 but per the settings the scan shouldn't be

I had this issue.
You'll find the star images in that folder. They are easy to identify as
they are all 5kb in size.

I removed the databases, cleared my browser cache, shut down LMS,
restarted my computer, and ran a full scan again, but I still have the
same issue. It is just not finding artist pictures any longer.
Hmm... those stars are Last.fm's new default images. But you shouldn't
get those any more,
