Is this a bug or a feature? As the TAG Description isn't widely used,
but the Comment TAG is.
Add it under "Alsa Volume Control" or "Various Options". Any other
parameters you suggest or just -V?

I only just realised that " What Was That Tune?" isn't working quite
right with Spotty when using it as Spotify Connect endpoint.
Although song info is listed( which is great) it's not possible to play
it. Song url is linked to connect device rather then Spotify Library
which is understable, but

I get the bar graph for headphones which is device 0. When I switch to
the DAC, which is device 1 I get "this sound device does not have
any controls".

Yes, not seeing anything available to me to make a change in Alsamixer.
Do you have thoughts on what I could add to picoreplayer interface under
Alsa Volume Control? Feel -V might be something to try, but what I input
doesn't seem to work.
Hey Michael,
I only just realised that " What Was That Tune?" isn't working quite
right with Spotty when using it as Spotify Connect endpoint.

it. Song url is linked to connect device rather then Spotify Library

I'm using hw:CARD=G20,DEV=0 though have tried all that are available.
How are you setting the Alsa volume to 100%? I seem to be struggling at
making that happen. Thanks for the help.

You must be setting volume to 100% and using preamp volume control. It's
the only way I have been able to get VU Meter and Spectrum Analyzer to
work with USB connection to DAC.
Non-starter for me though as I need volume control on my phone app.
May try and get a pi2aes, when they become

That is because this is the tooltip for the menu button. This was added,

I'm not sure if this has been addressed here, Apologies if so. When
using Material Skin as I hover over the three dot colon to display the
full title name, each album name has "(menu)" at the end. The standard
skin does not do that, I believe it appends the year.

Good idea to add the tip to the guide.

Great. Sorry I didnt think of LAME earlier. Ill add it to the
Troubleshooting guide in the online help.
will provide the XML asap.
Additionally, when it's working (after fresh generate), it stops working
after shutting down the homepd and/or reboot LMS. So the settings don't
stick.

I wouldn"t normally add it

No, not intentional. I'm guessing these tracks have a 'disc' tag even
though its a single disc album. I only use this tag when I have multiple
discs. I'll fix for 2.8.2

Single disc albums have the choice to play both album and disc. Is that
intended?[image:

I understand - it just would be helpful with multi disc sets to access
material more easily.
