I've updated to the latest nightly and now the saved playlist (before
the announcement) does not resume.
Does anybody, using the latest lms 8.2 nightly, have the same problem?

Just rename fab4.version to custom.fab4.version and
fab4_8.0.1_r16844.bin to custom.fab4.bin.
Then update. Worked for me on my radio (baby).
Once you are done testing/updated , remove the custom.* files. SC will
NOT auto-upgrade new firmware files to the Controller when they are
pushed out,
