Nope - I tried vers=2.0, vers=2.1 and even vers=1.0
Tried on the command line too. The "vers" is working, as when I tried
1.0, the dmesg complained that I shouldn't use it because it's insecure.
But it still whinged about "could not allocate crypto".
I've been running lms on PiCorePlayer v5 for yonks. My music is on a WD
MyCloud share, and I mounted it using cifs. As I said, it's been
working absolutely fine.
However, I was only using a 4G SD on my rpi, and I was running into
space issues. So I got an 8G card and decided to upgrade to
Well, in the meantime, I tried installing the older helper app - and
it's sprung into life!
Don't understand that - possibly I hadn't updated Spotty for a while??
Still, no problem - all working now. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your rapid response.

I am having trouble getting Spotty working since I installed LMS 8.2.
It has been working for donkey's years, with no problems. But suddenly,
I'm getting (in red writing)

I feel it probably has been mentioned, but I can't find it anywhere.
(Is there a way to search just a single thread?)
I'm getting the following in glorious red on the web settings:-
Operating system: Debian / armv7l-linux
Helper Applications Folder:
/usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Bin/armhf-linux
I used to have this plugin - and then my server crashed spectacularly
and lost all my settings.
I've rebuilt the server and I have the ordinary spotify (which is ok-ish
on Squeezebox Radio) but I can't find anywhere in the settings the
Triode Spotify.
Has it gorn?
Me again - it all now works beautifully with version 2.2.4. Just
beautiful - thanks very much.

Indeed.
If you put your old router back, does it start working again? Assuming
it does, there must be something in the new router that's stopping it.

and/or a backtrace from the version I
have be of any use to you?
Sorry to nag - but I've just discovered Spotify and I'm using it a lot
on my Squeezebox Radio - I really miss it on the normal Squeezebox!
Thanks very much.

search according to the log.
Anything else I can do to help you track this down?

Ignore my first attempt to show the log - I've corrected it!

Hope this helps.
