library: NativeEngine
Any and all hints about how to create a filter on Linux with the MIP
v1.8 software, or how to get past the NativeEngine problem would be
heartily welcomed.

it. The tunes still sound good
(many of them anyway)
In many cases the track tag contains Trackname - Artistname so it's a
lot of tedious cutting and pasting. I just downloaded mp3tag to see if
it will make fixing tags any less torturous.

Just to close, I tried switching from the hardware settings ( e.g. ~
[NForce 0,1] )to using Java Sound Layer as suggested a few posts ago.
Softsqueeze 3.4 has been rock solid since.

I'm in this boat too.
I am using two sound cards and will try to figure out if using the Java
Sound Layer helps as mentioned above.
I also posted some detail in the bug tracker.
