Spent some time trying to work out what if anything was different about the Boom setup and noticed it had bit rate limited set (to 96) changed this to off and it all works - but I PROMISE this never affected it prior to the last few 7.4 mightlies...anyway Thanks ALL gt -- gandt

Jezbo - Ive now installed it on the same machine that runs slimcentre i.e. my windows home server. I have imported all the music from the slim database with no problem. Ive checked firewall settings for the cli but still no players. What am I missing? graham -- gandt

my music is on: \\HPSERVER\Music and it doesnt seem to find it similarly I enter \\hpserver in place of licalhost in the sql settings section and that does not work either any suggestions? graham -- gandt gandt's

function that sort of helps but I wondered if I was the only one experiencing this? FWIW I use Slimcenter on a Mediasmart home server I can see that the break ties with any peak of processor activity. Anyway nothing else shows the same symptoms. graham -- gandt

the following behaviour also occurred pre taking out the plugin a) attempting debug with the sql related toggles caused a crash b) attempts to look in the music folder also caused a crash can do both now on latest build without plug in added -- gandt

Hi been using lazy search but on most recent 6.2.2 and mac osx whilst the remote will respond to the search button (and say lazy search) it can never find anything. Also i notice there is no mention of it in the plugin section of slimserver. Anyone got any ideas? -- gandt

hunt around the forums - this one is well reported - you'll probably find it only occurs on live broadcasts and not on listen again type streams. Its something to do with mplayer, is certainly a bug, but not something the AienBBC people can fix - but i stand to be corrected graham -- gandt
