Thinking about this some more, & maybe clutching at straws...
A day or two before receiving the block I had rebooted twice & updated a
couple of plugins. Just guessing, but maybe this triggered too many
automatic scans in too short a space of time?
I removed the client ID & disabled any
Unfortunately Sprocket never recived much attention when it was released
- although I see 0.4 has been downloaded 86 times. Don't think the
plugin author had much time or inclination to maimtain it.
The combination of the LMS podcast plugin & Material Skin is pretty good
though & allows you to
Latest update seems to have completely sorted the longstanding problems
with lack of search results & only playing the first item in the list of
results.
Many thanks!

I never experienced the problems others reported here (I'm using
Max2Play) but happy to report 0.5.11 continues to work on my system &
seeking/pausing within streams works very well & is a welcome addition.
Many thanks to everyone for their work on this.

Many thanks from me as well. The plugin works well & has completely
taken the pain out of trying to extract a playable URL.
Is it likely that it will be able to play on-demand shows sometime?
There is a big time-difference for me with the station I listen to, it
would be fantastic to listen to
ayed for a podcast is sometimes innacurate, which I think has been
reported in another thread.

I subscribed to Plus at £0.99/month and am back in business! Listening
to a podcast as I write. Still using version 0.4 which I installed
earlier but will try version 0.2 again in the next day or two as it
seems to have been a change on the Pocket Casts end which caused the
problem.
Many thanks

I installed version 0.3 today and now get this in the log
Code:

response error: 401 Unauthorized

That's correct, I can log in or out & the changes are reflected in the
sprocket.prefs

Well, I thought that

I'm also using LMS8 but on a Pi2B with Max2Play. Still on the Stretch
version of M2P.

I think you're right, sadly. Maybe the manual installation puts people
off?
I only recently discovered how easy it is to find & subscribe to
podcasts using the LMS podcast app &

I tried that too, with a reboot inbetween for good measure, but no joy.
I haven't used the app much for several weeks as I'm not a big podcast
listener,

I noticed this a few days ago as well. I hoped it was a problem at the
Pocket Casts end that would be resolved if I waited.
Found these entries in the server log, but not sure if it sheds

I only have SB Radios so can't help I'm afraid.

Not sure if this is any help but I'm running the same version of LMS on
Max2Play & the plugin continues to work for me.
It has been ok for several weeks now, since I read some of the comments
above and tried it again. I didn't need to uninstall & reinstall though,
it just started
