on my laptop that had never had it installed
on it before and took it one step at a time with no problems.
I have now reinstalled LMS on my normal PC and all seems ok on there as
well, 4 players all sync'd and it's a beautiful thing.

do I monitor/prove it is a network problem?
Is there any setting in the Spotify plug-in that will help it live with
this in the same way that the iPlayer seems to?

I have rebooted my whole system and actually have changed routers, due
to storm damage on the old one, everything works perfectly once it is
running.

unzipped the whole package to the bin folder and have also tried just
unzipping the mplayer.exe file, both give the mplayer not found
message.
Any ideas?

I have also just installed AlienBBC 2.4a2 on Win XP and it has failed to
load Mplayer - the message is -: Download Failed (bad md5 checksum.
Having a third attempt now.
