I first installed AlienBBC (ver 1.06) onto my SlimServer v6.51 install on Windows XP last night, and it was working fine. Today, I had installed another application (Rhapsody), and then subsequently uninstalled it as it couldn't work outside of the U.S., and since then, if I try playing a stream using AlienBBC, it blue screens my Windows and forces a reboot.
I've tried uninstalling everything (SlimServer, AlienBBC), and also done a Windows Restore rollback to an earlier time prior to these issues starting, and nothing has worked... it blue screens whenever I attempt an AlienBBC stream, or even when I install, and it performs the test, this also crashes Windows. Any ideas on how to get this working properly again? Anyone else experience this?
