One can always contact the company behind Pocket Casts and ask them for
supporting the Squeezebox eco system. I've been in contact with them and
they said they'd consider it but I guess it's more likely the more
people that are getting in touch with them.

I've used a couple of things to integrate Pocketcasts with Squeezebox,
coming from an Apple perspective:
- Chromecast Audio connected to Squeezebox Line In and use Chromecast
to play podcasts (iOS app supports Chromecast)

Until anyone succeeds in creating a plugin for pocketcasts, I am using
the following script to manually import opml exported from the
Pocketcasts app into the Podcasts plugin in LMS/Squeezeserver. Maybe it
is of use to someone else.
Also eager to try it out! @dazuag, please let us know if there is
something we can do to help out (testing etc) or if the current version
of the plugin is available somewhere.

I noticed that Pocket Casts, in their latest update supports Sonos; I
then contacted Pocket Casts asking them to consider support for the
Squeezebox eco system. The response was that they would discuss it...
TO be a paying customer in this regard, is it enough with that 9 USD One
time fee?

I am currently working on that. You can expect a first working version
until next Sunday evening (European time). One small caveat is that I
only have looked into the API used by the webversion. That means that
you would need paid access to that.
I too am a Pocket Casts junkie and would've loved having a plugin :)
