Thanks, that's a good idea as a temporary workaround, but it isn't what
I'm looking for. When I practice, I'll try it at normal speed, then
find there's a hard bit, so slow it down 5%.. find it's still too hard,
slow it down 10%.. then push myself by playing a section at 110%, then
normal speed.

Developers: All it takes to add this functionality is to integrate
libsoundtouch. Maybe nice for speeding up podcasts, slowing down music
for musicians trying to figure out songs, people learning a foreign
language, etc.

Audacity (it's free) will do exactly what you want. Start Audacity,
open the file you want, slow it, and then
