Unfortunately my poor old Android tablet is totally broken, and I can
hardly get it to connect to anything. But it did work for a few minutes
before it hung again.
Hmm... my first suggestion (replace "playlist" with "outline") would
have worked here, too. I'm still using Orange Squeeze 2.1.2.
Ok, this change seems to be working:
Code:

type => 'playlist',
name => cstring($client, 'PLUGIN_SPOTTY_TOP_TRACKS'),
# items => trackList($client, $artistInfo->{tracks}),
url => sub {

Yes Orange Squeeze seems to rely on the context menu's for "bulk" play
operations and most other areas have these so it works OK, just not on
Top Tracks.
I think I have a fix for this. Alas I'm about to head out for two weeks.

I googled and found the original discussion about it but I've never seen
this option. Would be interested to know why!

What players do you have? It might only apply to Touch and Radio or
other Squeezeplay based players. The Duet receiver does not have
Touch-to-play.

Yep, I Googled and found the announcement that it was added but my
player menu doesn't have it.

Most odd, I don't have that menu option in any of my players. Running
LMS 7.9.1 nightly.

Running latest Orange Squeeze 2.1.11 the only setting I can find is
"Default Play Mode" which I've had set to Prompt.
Tapping on a track within Top Tracks

I've been using Orange Squeeze to control my system and one thing I've
noticed is that within Spotify (both Spotty and Triode plugin before it)
if you select an Artist there is no Play/Play Next/Add to playlist
options for Top Tracks as there are with the Songs item directly beneath
it. Meaning
