Synology had a native LMS app, but they discontinued it (June 30, 2020). So docker is the only way to go, or you need someone who made it available for Synology ido_nl's Profile:

I can use LMS and send local files and radio streams to the player, no problem. But my spotify cant connect. Host mode would work, as it will open all ports. Perhaps I should run a port scan within the docker container. I now solved it using the max2play Pi image and run the local Spotify

I created everything from scratch now, using the cummunity LMS (lmscommunity/logitechmediaserver) Also mapped all the ports to their own ports -p 9000:9000/tcp \ -p 9090:9090/tcp \ -p 3483:3483/tcp \ -p 3483:3483/udp Would that work with local music files, or internet radio? I still cant see

I installed Logitech Media Server v8.0.1 on my Synology NAS using docker (apnar/logitech-media-server) I have a raspberry pi with piCorePlayer. Everything is working fine, except Spotty. My Spotify cant find te device as a player. I installed LMS also on my piCorePlayer, and it worked
