I finally managed to solve my issue it by
- starting the service in delayed mode (automatisch (verzögerter
Start))
- reducing the standard delay time of 120 seconds by adding a DWORD
(32-Bit) parameter to the windows registry key
Check if it makes a difference if you start it from Task Scheduler
instead of srvany, could be triggered at startup and could also be
delayed after triggered.

I've already tried starting the service in delayed mode which did not
help, unfortunately.

Yes, lms runs on pi, squeezelite is running as a win service using
srvany.exe. After starting the win pc, the squeezelite service is
started but not visible as a client in lms. After restaring the win
service, the client is visible in lms, though.
