You can't have LMS involved into
Iphone is good.
I have an IMAC running 10.14.6 that plays youtube video.
What I don't have is Raspberry pi's running Picore player and LMS
playing youtube video.
Is there another player for pi, or ubuntu that plays youtube video?

Hi,
I am trying to get youtube video to play on pi4b.
I have two pi4 devices, one a server, the other a player.
I have Youtube loaded into LMS
and playing audio out from both devices to LMS and usb dacs. This all
works.
I want to play video out on one pi, and sound on the other. I get
video

So have a look as how vortexbox configured your dac. I assume it is
squeezelite underneath the hood for the player section, so you have to
see what command line is used. But the issue sits there, it is not a LMS
nor YT plugin

Vortex box with schiit DAC and a R Pi 3.

Yes both my players support 48k. So either LMS cannot deliver 48kHz
Youtube audio to them, or they cannot receive it. How do I make LMS
transcode

I also played quite a few tracks tonight from Youtube at 48KHz, they
were not transcoded/resampled to play on my pCP
Jeff

Not AFAIK. I'm doing 48k YT all the time, aac, vorbis or opus
LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. Sonos
PLAY:3, PLAY:5, Marantz
Does your sound card support 48k? if not it will need to be resampled,
either by squeezelite or LMS. What is the audio format?
piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.

PiCore isn't responding to 48kHz YouTube audio - only to 44.1KhZ audio.
Is this a known issue and is there a solution?
